3D Printing FAQ
Files and quotes
How do I get a quote?
Use our Custom 3D Print upload page to submit your design to the Filaquote tool. Choose your print options, review your price, and add your print to the cart. You can then proceed to checkout without waiting for a separate quote.
Which file types can I upload?
Our custom-print workflow is intended for STL and 3MF files. Check the upload tool for current file requirements and limits. If your file is not accepted, contact us before ordering.
Do I need to provide my own design?
Yes. Our current service focuses on printing customer-supplied 3D files. Contact us before ordering if you need help preparing your file; design or revision work is not automatically included in a print quote.
Does an instant quote mean any design can be printed?
A quote provides pricing for your selected options. Printability also depends on geometry, dimensions, and material suitability. Contact us before ordering if your project has unusual features or specific performance requirements.
What is the maximum print size or upload limit?
Check the requirements shown in the upload tool. For oversized files or parts, contact us before ordering to discuss your project.
Materials and printing
Which materials and colors are available?
Review the options available in the quote tool for your project. Contact us before ordering if you need a specific material, color, or finish.
Can you print multicolor designs?
We have both single-color and multicolor FDM printing capabilities. Contact us before ordering to confirm how your design's colors should be supplied and whether the requested combination is available.
Who prints my order?
We print orders ourselves on our own FDM printers.
Will my print have visible layer lines?
FDM printing builds objects layer by layer. Visible layer lines and small surface variations are normal. If surface finish is important to your project, discuss your requirements with us before ordering.
Can I order a functional or replacement part?
Contact us before ordering to discuss fit, measurements, and intended use. Do not assume a printed part is suitable for food contact, high heat, structural loads, or safety-critical use without confirming its suitability.
Production and shipping
How long will my order take?
Production time depends on the size, complexity, quantity, and print options for your project. Confirm your production estimate before ordering, especially if you have a deadline. Production time and delivery time are separate.
How much does shipping cost?
Review the shipping options and charges shown at checkout for your delivery address before paying.
Changes and support
Can I change my file or options after ordering?
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and requested change. We will check the order's production status before confirming whether a change is possible.
What if my print arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the print and packaging so we can review it with you.
Can I cancel or return a custom print?
Review our current Shipping policy and Refund policy before ordering. Contact us promptly if you need to request a cancellation or report an issue with an order.
What if I still have a question?
Use our Contact page to share your project details or order number. Please check with us before ordering if you are unsure whether your design or chosen material will meet your needs.
